To successfully design our enterprise's identity, architecture, and experience, we need smart people involved from all corners of the organisation. For various reasons however, these people may not always be visible to those who have the decision-making positions and power to include them. Drawing on my experience observing the tendency of leaders and managers to overlook the resourceful ingenuity of existing employees, I will explore how to avoid falling into this trap. Together we'll look at a couple of enterprise design patterns that could be employed to identify the X factor in the enterprise.
